The Victorian State Government has announced a small business grant of $10,000 for small businesses that employ staff, and are subject to closure, or are highly impacted by the shutdown restrictions announced by the Government as a result of COVID-19.
Applications for the grant of $10,000 close on 1 June 2020, so please contact our office urgently so that we can determine both your eligibility and make the application on your behalf.
The funding may be used for business costs such as:
- Meeting business costs, including utilities, salaries, rent
- Seeking financial, legal or other advice to support business continuity planning
- Developing the business through marketing and communications activities
- Other supporting activities related to the operation of the business
Businesses will be required to attest to their eligibility and provide supporting documentation through the application process.
Applicants will be subject to audit by the Victorian Government or its representatives.
